2021 Annual Conference Quick Take: The Health Alliance for Violence Intervention

Hospital-based and hospital-linked violence intervention programs throughout the country are advancing comprehensive models of care that address the intersectional nature of trauma, social determinants of health, and violence. The Health Alliance for Violence Intervention (HAVI) fosters hospital and community collaborations to advance equitable, trauma-informed care and violence intervention and prevention programs. This Quick Take session will explore the challenges and opportunities of establishing and sustaining hospital-based violence intervention programs.
