
McKayla Gamino
McKayla Gamino is an Executive Assistant at Grantmakers In Health (GIH), providing administrative and project management support to the President and CEO. Prior to joining GIH, Ms. Gamino was the Senior Program Manager for the Policy and Government Affairs Campaigns team at Color Of Change, a racial justice advocacy organization, where she led initiatives for organizational effectiveness and oversaw finance and operations for a team of researchers, project managers, and digital organizers. While at Color Of Change, she was part of the team that led more than 120 campaigns in criminal justice issue areas, including prosecutor accountability, decarceration, police accountability and public safety, reproductive justice, and voting rights. She began her career at Ashoka, an international systems change accelerator program for social entrepreneurs, supporting the CEO in their external relations and providing research support. Ms. Gamino holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Washington College.
