This webinar grounded funders in the immediate concerns of immigrant and refugee communities; provided early analyses of the policy and political landscape including the new Congress; and offered a preview of plans to protect due process and fundamental rights at the local, state, and federal levels. Funders had the opportunity to discuss what can be done now to support immigrants and refugees and the organizations that serve them. With conditions on the ground changing rapidly and details on the policy front still emerging, this is the first of many webinars that GCIR will organize to keep funders informed of critical developments.
