What:
Digital health is an increasingly popular strategy that uses a variety of rapidly evolving technologies and platforms to improve individual and population health outcomes, increase health knowledge, and empower decision making. These tools can be a “great equalizer” that grants everyone access to critical knowledge and engages them in action to improve their own health and that of the community. As the great equalizer, technology and digital health can be important contributors to systems change efforts to increase racial and ethnic health equity and to reduce health care disparities. This webinar explored the opportunities for health funders to support digital health innovation as a strategic approach that enhances community wellness and promotes racial and ethnic health equity.
