During the day’s discussion and interactive sessions, attendees discussed strategies for enhancing disaster resilience and community physical and behavioral health through public-private partnerships. Funders also had the opportunity to share their work with others who support disaster preparedness, mental and behavioral health, health promotion, and resilience. Attendees learned about federally supported programs and efforts that may intersect with, or complement, the activities of private philanthropy.
