Hospitals, community health clinics, and other health care providers are central touchpoints in communities that have an opportunity to address patients’ civic health as well as their physical and mental health. Started as a pilot at Massachusetts General Hospital, Vot-ER has now expanded to partner with health care professionals and organizations all over the country to help patients register to vote. Vot-ER provides resources to health care providers to offer a seamless, non-partisan way for patients to register to vote while they are waiting to receive health care services. Join this Quick Take to learn more about how Vot-ER can assist health care providers to strengthen the civic infrastructure in the communities you serve.
