Ensuring that every parent, child, and family has a healthy and bright future requires thoughtfully-designed collaborations, including public-private partnerships. This meeting allowed grantmakers the opportunity to spend a day in strategic discussion with senior leaders at the federal Maternal and Child Health Bureau.
This high-level conversation explored opportunities to support parents (such as maternal health before, during and after pregnancy and paternal involvement in pregnancy and child-rearing); to help infants thrive (such as home visiting and infant mortality); and to sustain healthy building blocks in early childhood (such as home visiting, safety and injury prevention, and early literacy).
