What
The Affordable Care Act of 2010 changed the landscape of health care. Two years after its passage, and despite concerns about the current political and legal challenges, foundations are continuing to look for constructive ways to address health reform implementation at the national, state, and community level.
This webinar engaged John McDonough, a professor of practice at the Harvard School of Public Health and the author of Inside Health Reform, who between 2008 and 2010 served as senior advisor on national health reform to the U.S. Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions where he worked on passage of the Affordable Care Act. Dr. McDonough reflected on the law’s first two years, previewed what is next, and recommended where philanthropy might focus its attention in 2012 and beyond.
