BHHS Legacy Foundation (Phoenix, AZ) and its affiliates announced that they have awarded $2,361,533 in grants in the greater Phoenix region and $956,352 in grants in their tri-state region (Bullhead City, Mohave Valley, and Topock, AZ; Needles, CA; and Laughlin, NV) during the first half of 2012.

Aetna Foundation, Inc. (Hartford, CT) has awarded $145,150 to the Nurse-Family Partnership (Denver, CO) to promote breastfeeding among African American, first-time mothers enrolled in the Nurse-Family Partnership program.

Allegany Franciscan Ministries (Palm Harbor, FL) awarded grants totaling $4.5 million to 83 Florida-based, nonprofit community organizations.
